Be the first to hear Shrine, the latest collaboration from Burial and The Bug

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Burial and The Bug will release a collaborative EP as Flame 1.

The hugely anticipated two-track record is due for release on 30 March via Kevin Martin’s new label Pressure, and it marks the first collaborative effort between the two groundbreaking artists.

Comprised of the tracks Fog and Shrine, the former recently emerged online. Today, we’re excited to be hosting the world premiere of the second track, Shrine, from the EP’s AA side. In a similar fashion to Fog, the track is an unsettling offering, evoking an apocalyptic atmosphere with futuristic synths and thunderous beats that cut through the ghostly murk.

Last year, Burial released three EPs – Subtemple, Pre Dawn / Indoors and Rodent – via Hyperdub and Nonplus, while The Bug connected with Earth to release the album Concrete Desert via Ninja Tune.
