Four Tet, aka Kieran Hebden, has been tapped for remix duties on the Bicep track Opal.
The rework sees Hebden extend the track’s running time, adding more textured overlays to give the track a more contemplative feel. Out digitally today via Ninja Tune, Hebden’s remix will be released on vinyl with a Bicep track covering the B side on 27 April.
The original version is from Bicep’s 2017 self-titled debut, which features the single Aura.
2017 also saw Hebden release the album New Energy. In November, he remixed Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith’s track I Will Make Room For You.
