The Labour Party have shared details of a one-day festival in London this summer.
Labour Live will take place at White Hart Lane recreation ground in Tottenham on 16 June. The event has been described by the party as “a brand new one-day festival of music, art and politics that brings together our incredible movement”.
In terms of political headliners, party leader Jeremy Corbyn will be speaking at the event following the rousing speech he delivered at Glastonbury Festival 2017. He’ll be joined by Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell and local MP Kate Osamor, the Shadow Secretary of State for International Development.
The music lineup, so far, includes The Magic Numbers, British singer songwriter Rae Morris and winner of The Voice UK, Jermain Jackman.
The website says, “So if you’re a Labour supporter looking to meet other supporters, a music buff looking for an affordable summer festival, or a family looking for a great day out: we’ve got you covered.”
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (20 March). Find out more and sign up here.
