Slowdive, Nabihah Iqbal and more added to Bluedot Festival 2018

Slowdive interview

Bluedot Festival will return to the Jodrell Bank Observatory, Cheshire, on 19-22 July.

Following its recent first announcement, the festival has now revealed its second wave of acts, adding the shoegaze five-piece Slowdive to the line-up, along with NTS regular Nabihah Iqbal, London-based ensemble Afriquoi, Crazy P and others.

Staging its 2018 edition at the home to the Lovell telescope, the festival will combine live science experiments with immersive art and music, celebrating the intersection of science and sound. Extending beyond the remit of music, there’ll be talks from thinkers and scientists on topics such as outer space and climate change.

Head to Bluedot’s website for more information, and revisit Crack’s in-depth interview with Slowdive.
