Cardiff’s international arts festival has added the final wave of acts to its 2018 programme.
Charlotte Church returns to the 10-day event to curate an evening called Utopia on 16 June, for which she’ll enlist a roster of international artists to perform. Under Church’s curation, the event has booked Swedish talent ionnalee, drag and performance artist Le Gateau Chocolat and the multi-hyphenate Talia Randall.
On her concept of utopia, Church said, “I want to explore concepts of utopia and dystopia with the audience, whilst having unhealthy amounts of fun. But in my utopia, there’s always a rave at the end of the night. Just a very vocal rave…!”
They join previously announced acts, which include Patti Smith, Nadine Shah and Elvis Costello.
Festival of Voice will be held across various venues, from 7-17 June. Head to their website for more information.
