All Points East has announced Despacio for a three-day residency.
Despacio is a million dollar all-vinyl sound system created by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and Soulwax’s David and Stephen Dewaele. The three selectors will be behind the decks as part of a UK festival exclusive for All Points East’s inaugural edition this year.
Spread across 10 days, All Points East includes a three-day music festival from 25-27 May followed by a community focused midweek entertainment programme and three standalone shows. Those announced for the festival include LCD Soundsystem, Björk, Abra and Sampha. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds is set to headline one of the three final shows, with support from Patti Smith, St. Vincent, Courtney Barnett, Nadine Shah and more.
