The pioneering artist gave a rare TV performance last night (22 May) on Later… with Jools Holland on BBC Two.
Running through Utopia’s Courtship and the 1993 track The Anchor Song, the performance marked the Icelandic artist’s first TV performance in eight years. With a set constructed to give the appearance of an artificial paradise, the artist shared the stage with the flute septet Viibra, London-based composer Manu Delago on percussion and Icelandic producer Bergur Þórisson on the electronics.
Björk is set to release a three-track EP on 25 May, comprised of remixes from Jlin, Lanark Artefax and Kelly Lee Owens.
