Grimes teams up with K-Pop girl group Loona on new track love4eva

The yyxy sub-group of the 12-member pop collective, Loona, have enlisted Grimes for the new track Love4eva.

The K-pop girl group is made up of four sub-groups, and the yyxy unit is comprised of members Chuu, Yves, Go Won and Olivia Hye. Their new collaboration comes after the four K-pop singers connected with the Art Angels artist on Instagram via the DMs.

An accompanying video has been released today (30 May). Though Grimes doesn’t appear in the visual, she lends her “dark chaos magic” to the track. Loona recently took to Twitter to thank the artist: “Grimes, You are LOOΠΔ’s goddess! It’s an honor to work with you”. Grimes has encouraged her fans to listen to Loona’s material, tweeting: “listen to loona and watch vids it’s incredible art”.

Loona are yet to make their debut as a full 12-member group, and have been promoting since 2016. Making one of the longest lead-ups to a debut in K-pop history, the group have multiple singles and albums from different members. Love4eva is the 17th single from the group. Recently, it was announced that they had signed to Live Nation.
