The inimitable DJ appears in a club scene, of course
DJ Harvey, real name Harvey Bassett, has revealed that he will appear in the latest instalment of the long-running Mission: Impossible franchise, Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
Posting a still from the film to Instagram, Harvey included a caption which read: “Mission Impossible Fallout feat DJ Harvey – As Himself.” He praised the film for being “a wild ride” before thanking the director, members of his team and the film’s star, Tom Cruise.
We reached out to a representative of Harvey’s for confirmation, who elaborated on the cameo: “He plays himself in a nightclub scene,” they said. “His filming took place while on tour last summer over three days and nights in the week leading up to one of his gigs at Concrete Paris.”
