Design Manchester teams up with The Warehouse Project for DM18 launch party

Warehouse Project Exhibition

Design Manchester is teaming up with The Warehouse project (WHP) for the opening party of Manchester festival DM18.

DM18 is a festival of creativity and design, founded by non-profit organisation Design Manchester. To launch the upcoming edition of the UK event, the opening event will see Crack Magazine host a Q&A tracing the highlights of The Warehouse Project; from its photography and design, to its ethos and impact on Manchester nightlife.

WHP residents Krysko, Greg Lord and Will Tramp will be on the decks to soundtrack the party. Furthermore, there’ll be a preview of the End of Store Street exhibition, which is set to run on 10 October to 4 November. The collaborative exhibition has been curated by Warehouse Project photographer Sebastian Matthes and designer Paul Hemmingfield.

In July, WHP announced that it’ll be leaving its “spiritual home” on Store Street at the end of its 2018 season.

DM18 will run from 10-21 October, with the launch party taking place at PLY in the Northern Quarter, on 9 October. Entry to the event will be free. For more information, head to Design Manchester’s website.
