Charli XCX has dropped the new throwback track 1999 featuring South African singer-songwriter Troye Sivan.
The Crack Magazine cover star teased the single earlier this week, and it lands today (5 October). 1999, as the title suggests, is littered with 90s references such as “listening to Shady”, Britney’s Hit Me Baby One More Time and Matrix-themed cover art.
The song continues on from Charli XCX’s run of stellar singles this year including 5 in the Morning, Focus, No Angel, and Girls Night Out.
