Here’s how to get your hands on a free copy of our limited edition zine with Fred Perry

This is Departures – five creatives on the journeys that shaped them. We have collaborated with Fred Perry to create a zine and online series featuring the stories with exclusive photography by Charlotte Patmore. Get your hands on the zine at the opening of Fred Perry’s new London store at Coal Drops Yard on 1 November.

Fred Perry will be opening a brand new store this week at Coal Drops Yard, a new retail space in the heart of Kings Cross. To celebrate and produce something extra-special for the launch, we teamed up with them to create Departures – a free zine where five creatives tell the story of a journey which shaped them.

Featuring visual artist Rene Matić, Heavy Lungs frontman Danny Nedelko, Yorkshire-born painter Alfie Kungu, The Horrors bassist Tom Furse and photographer Charlotte Patmore (who also shot all imagery in the zine), Departures is an intimate and stylish portrait of five artists who have found their own path. To celebrate the store launch and to get a copy of the zine, head to the new Fred Perry store from 6PM on Thursday 1 November. Find the address here.

The night will be soundtracked by NTS DJ and Horrors bassist Tom Furse who appears in the zine.

Departures features long-form stories written by the creatives, recounting a story which shaped their creative and personal outlook. The accompanying videos feature music by Bristol artist Andrew Toone.
