The latest episode in WeTransfer’s short film series is available to watch now.
The intimate portrait focuses on Lykke Li as she talks about recent personal upheavals, including the loss of a parent and becoming a mother. Set to her 2017 album so sad so sexy, the mini-documentary reveals how she has emerged stronger and more empowered by the events of the last few years.
The short marks the third episode of Work In Progress, WeTransfer’s documentary series which celebrates the spirit of creative collaboration. The inaugural episode starred Björk and Jesse Kanda, with the second episode profiling the pan-Asian hip-hop collective 88rising. It is produced by Pi Studios and directed by Kaj Jefferies and Alice Lewis on 16mm film.
