The former Crack Magazine cover stars have an album of live recordings on the way, entitled Electric Lady Sessions.
The LP was recorded at New York’s Electric Lady Studios. Furthermore, a cover of Heaven 17’s (We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang has been released, which will also feature on the live album. While a release date is yet to be confirmed, a press release states that it’ll be out later this year.
The band’s recent Spotify Singles set was also recorded at the NYC studio, which includes a cover of Chic’s I Want Your Love.
LCD Soundsystem made their return with the album American Dream last year – their first in eight years. It features the singles Call the Police, American Dream and tonite.
