New Lil Peep documentary to be executive produced by Terrence Malick

Lil Peep

A Lil Peep documentary is in the works.

An article by The New York Times confirms that a documentary on Lil Peep is coming, and it’s been executive produced by Oscar-nominated director Terrence Malick. Renowned for films such as Badland, Days of Heaven and The Thin Red Line, Malick is also a friend of the late rapper’s family. While the article confirms that the documentary is coming, it also makes mention of an accompanying soundtrack that “may” be in the works, too.

Last month, Variety reported that a posthumous album by Lil Peep will be seeing the light of day. Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2 is set to be released on 9 November via Columbia. In September, a collaborative track between Lil Peep and XXXTentacion, called Falling Down, was released posthumously.

Lil Peep died from an accidental drug overdose last year, on 15 November. He was 21 years old.
