Stormzy confirmed as Glastonbury 2019 headliner

Stormzy

Glastonbury has announced the first headliner for its 2019 edition.

Reports started appearing that the grime MC had been booked for a headline slot after a poster in a Streatham Oxfam shop made the announcement. A member of staff confirmed to The Independent that the poster was real, and that the shop manager had requested he place it on the window.

Now, Glastonbury has followed up with its own announcement online, confirming that the Gang Signs & Prayer star will headline the Pyramid Stage on 28 June. The festival will return, after its 2018 break, to Somerset’s Worthy Farm on 26-30 June.
