The Horrors to celebrate 10 years of Primary Colours with London show

The Horrors

The five-piece outfit have announced a special London show.

The Horrors are set to mark the 10th anniversary of Primary Colours with a performance at Royal Albert Hall on 9 May 2019. Pre-sale tickets will be made available to purchase from 10am (GMT) tomorrow (7 November).

Primary Colours was originally released in 2009, and it includes the singles Who Can Say and Sea Within a Sea. Described by the band as a “pivotal” release, the LP marked a turning point for the quintet as it featured production from Portishead’s Geoff Barrow and saw the group deliver an LP of shoegaze soundscapes, krautrock and post-punk. It received universal critical acclaim upon its release and was one of 12 albums shortlisted for the Mercury Prize Award in 2009.

Last year, the group release their fifth studio album V. Read bassist Tom Furse’s account of The Horrors’ first US tour.
