Gary Lineker was spotted at The Warehouse Project last weekend

The presenter and Walkers Crisps aficionado was seen at the Manchester rave over the weekend.

As confirmed by Sacha Lord, founder of WHP and Greater Manchester’s Night Time Economy Adviser, and various fan accounts, Gary Lineker was spotted in the rave at The Warehouse Project on Saturday (1 December) and Sunday (2 December).

The first night saw the Manchester organisation team up with AVA to host a line-up featuring Bicep, Peggy Gou, Sunil Sharpe, Sven Väth and more, while Sunday night featured Groove Armada.

In July, the team behind WHP announced that they would be relocating from Store Street, their “spiritual home”, and this season would be their last in the area. A statement reads: “When WHP returned to Store Street in 2014 it was intended for one season only. Four years later we are calling time. There will be no return.” A new location is yet to be confirmed, and the final rave at the railway arches will be WHP’s New Year’s Day party. So far, the last season has included an all-day party with Four Tet, and a night specially curated by Daniel Avery.
