The party celebrates the launch of their DJ agency with a free in-store party tonight
The team behind Rye Wax have announced that they will be launching a new website and DJ agency. In celebration, the Rye Wax crew will be holding a party on 13 December – that’s tonight! – where those in attendance at the 120 person capacity club will have the chance to see Dillinja, DJ Storm and The Golden Filter for free.
With sliding scale fees and low booking fees, the Rye Wax DJ Agency “aims to bridge the widening gap between promoters and agents.” Its roster includes many well-known selectors from the store’s immediate and extended family including Joe Cotch, Cabasa, Rachael, and Marcy.
The Peckham institution have also just launched their new website, which will be stocked with the wide selection of records which can be found in-store including local favourites Rhythm Section, Man Band and Holding Hands. Additionally, Rye Wax merch, including slip mats, tees, totes and patches, will be available, with exclusive dubplates to be slipped online throughout the year.
