Avalon Emerson, Ben UFO and Octo Octa confirmed for Drift Festival 2019

The festival will take place from 8 to 9 June in the Dutch city of Nijmegen.

Drift Festival has announced the first wave of acts for its 2019 edition. The two-day event will bring together a diverse mix of artists for a celebration of contemporary electronic music.

House enthusiasts will be well catered for with Avalon Emerson, Octo Octa, Ben UFO, Axel Boman, Gerd Jansen, Or:la and Jasmín joining the festival’s ranks. Techno fans are also well represented with, among others, Discwoman’s Umfang, British Murder Boys and Blawan all stepping up. Elsewhere on the billing are electicists like Roi Perez, Carista and Mafalda and disco selector Sadar Bahar.

The festival will take place within the cultural heritage site De Vasim, located in the Dutch city of Nijmegen. A former factory, De Vasim now serves as an arts and music complex. The spacious venue can capacitate multiple stages and packed crowds, making it an ideal setting for a festival of this scale.

Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands, combining historic architecture with a vibrant arts and culture scene.

Drift Festival weekend passes, currently valued at 55 euros, are due to go on sale on 18 January.
