Grauzone Festival announces Shellac and Blixa Bargeld for 2019

Shellac

The Dutch multidisciplinary festival returns from 8-10 February across various venues in The Hague.

Post punk, psychedelic and dark wave festival Grauzone has announced its line-up for 2019. Noise rock trio Shellac and German dark ambient musician Blixa Bargeld top the billing. Joining these two headliners are dark wave act Lebanon Hanover, alternative rock artist Lee Ranaldo and instrumental three-piece The Messthetics.

Also confirmed for Grauzone’s sixth edition are the likes of Ancient Methods, Pink Turns Blue, The Cosmic Dead, The Blinders, Rendez-Vous and more. The opening night on 8 February will feature DJ sets from Butterslut, Garcon Tape and Pasiphae.

The festival combines an extensive music programme with film and art events, and brings together internationally recognised acts with younger, emerging talent. The art programme consists of an exhibition, entitled Graukunst, which will showcase artists like Alan Vega, Richard Kern and John Fekner whose work is inspired by the music of the ’80s underground.

Passes are currently valued at 35€. For tickets and further information, head to Grauzone’s website.
