The programme will be broadcast today (11 February) at 4pm (GMT).

In a Behind the Scenes special on BBC Radio 4, PJ Harvey will walk listeners through the process of her score for the West End theatre production All About Eve. Presenter John Wilson is welcomed into Harvey’s home for the programme, which was created in the weeks preceding the production’s opening night. During the special, the musician delves into how she wrote and recorded demos for the play’s soundtrack. She also discusses her influences and how Franz Liszt’s solo piano work, Liebestraume, has impacted her own original score.

Starring Gillian Anderson and Lily James, All About Eve is one of the most highly anticipated events in theatre for 2019. Adapted from the 1950 film of the same name, it explores themes of ambition, youth and celebrity.

Tune in today at 4pm (GMT) to catch Wilson and Harvey’s conversation. All About Eve runs until 11 March at the Noël Coward Theatre.
