rRoxymore, Machinewoman and Max Cooper join Wigflex Festival line-up

The festival’s debut edition will take place across various venues in Nottingham on 5 May.

rRoxymore, Machinewoman, Max Cooper, CCL and Shannen SP have been added to the billing for Nottingham’s Wigflex Festival. These artists will join the line-up alongside Honey Dijon, Gilles Peterson, Midland, Avalon Emerson, DJ Stingray, Young Marco, Call Super, Mumdance, Yazmin Lacey, Shanti Celeste, Djrum, DJ Slimzee, Eris Drew, Peach and more.

The festival will be spread over 15 of Nottingham’s most innovative spaces, and will take the form of live music sets, art installations and workshops. Programme highlights include a street party headed up by Gilles Peterson and a fully immersive 270 degree live AV show by Max Cooper, hosted in The Metronome, Nottingham’s newly built cross-media arts centre. Additionally, there will be panel discussions on topics such as women in music, mental health in the music industry, consent and club culture, and a retrospective on sound system culture from the WOC and LGBTQ+ perspective.
