Field Maneuvers has announced the second wave of acts for its upcoming edition.
The intimate festival will be held at a secret location, 45 minutes away from the M25, on 30 August to 1 September. Having previously announced a line-up of heavyweight acts, Avalon Emerson now joins the programme, along with Discwoman’s Umfang, Italian selector Elena Colombi and former Trouw resident Sandrien. Ostgut Ton’s Nick Höppner will host a Touch from a Distance showcase, bringing Desert Sound Colony, Brother Nebula, Opal Sunn, Cameo Blush and iona to the event.
Furthermore, a host of collectives are set to return to Field Maneuvers, including Manchester’s Meat Free, London promoters Make Me, and Cornerstone Soundsystem.
Those previously announced for the festival are DJ Stingray, Ben UFO, Eris Drew, Giant Swan, Or:la, Peach and more.
Field Maneuvers bills itself as a “no frills rave”. At last year’s edition, Crack Magazine noted how the organisers managed to “pull off filling their ‘dirty little rave’ with an intimate crowd of festival-goers”.
Tickets are on sale now. Head to the festival’s Facebook page for more information, and read Crack Magazine’s in-depth feature with Avalon Emerson.
