Crack Magazine, Nike and Native Instruments have joined forces to give 10 music-makers in Berlin bespoke production and performance hardware and a unique music creation workshop led by industry experts.
The collaboration comes in support of the Nike Air Max 180 BLN, a sneaker inspired by the city’s progressive nightlife culture. The Air Max 180 BLN workshop takes place on 22 March at Native Instruments’ headquarters in Kreuzberg, the heart of Berlin’s creative hub. Crack Magazine will be co-hosting the three-hour event where rising producers and electronic musicians can gain hands-on experience with essential Native Instruments software, hardware and online services. There will also be an opportunity to speak one-on-one with representatives from Native Instruments and Crack Magazine.
All attendees will be gifted a unique AM180-customized edition of the MASCHINE MIKRO from Native Instruments, that allows you to produce beats, melodies, and more, giving you the opportunity to continue to develop your practice after the workshop.
Native Instruments will have a certified product specialist, Berlin-based producer and ‘Through My Speakers‘ member NGHT DRPS, leading the workshop to show you the latest tips and tricks, and offer dedicated one-on-one time to understand the core elements of music production. Oscar Henson (DJ Facta), a member of Crack’s marketing team and also the boss of Wisdom Teeth, will be on hand to share experience and direction.
During the workshop, you will have the chance to play your creations and gain specialist advice on production skills from Native Instruments, alongside live performance and artist marketing using Crack’s expert experience in promotion, events and independent distribution. This is a chance to explore new tools and ideas in electronic music to elevate your practice.
