It Isn’t Happening Festival announces 2019 line-up

Experimental and club festival It Isn’t Happening is set to make its return on 29 May to 2 June.

The third edition of the event will feature Demdike Stare, Tomaga and Emptyset on the line-up. The programme will include a wide spectrum of border-crossing sounds, from contemporary electronics to pop, sound art and improvisation.

The festival will open with Phillipp Sollmann’s and Konrad Sprenger’s Modular Organ System II, and other highlights on the schedule include a performance from Carla dal Forno, the rhythmic acoustics of As Longitude and audiovisual compositions by Maria W Horn.

It Isn’t Happening will be spread across various venues in Nuremberg including Kulturwerkstatt, Akademie Galerie, Werkhalle 61 and Heizhaus.
