The London-based organisation has unveiled its plans for Glastonbury 2019.

Block9 makes its return with Glastonbury this summer, and it’s set to expand with two adjacent fields named Block9 East and Block9 West. The creative organisation has previously announced a new, immersive 3D surround sound arena called IICON. Now, it’s been confirmed that every night, IICON will host AV-3D – an audiovisual translation of Olivier Messiaen’s masterpiece Quartet for the End of Time.

NYC Downlow will also be a feature, and those confirmed to play are Tony Humphries, The Black Madonna going back-to-back with Garrett David, Erick Morillo, Sweely with Midland, and Mr Fingers. Over at the back of the venue, at The Meat Rack, you can expect to find sets from Luke Solomon with Rob Mello, Smokin Jo and Wes Baggaley alongside Deptford Northern Soul Club and Berlin’s Discodroma.

Genosys, a scaled-up arena, is set to take centre stage at the new Block9 West. Acts booked for the space include Anthony Parasole, HAAi, Josh Wink, Honcho, Hannah Holland, Randomer and Leon.

Other highlights on the Block9 programme include sets from Kode9 and Laurel Halo. Glastonbury will be held Somerset’s Worthy Farm on 26-30 June.
