The Saint Records founder composed a new score for Kenzo’s SS20 catwalk show.

Solange performed at Kenzo’s latest show in Paris yesterday (23 June). The Spring/Summer ’20 show marked the French brand’s final collection with design duo Humberto Leon and Carol Lim.

It’s not the first time the two creative directors have worked with musicians for their shows, having previously enlisted Lafawndah to perform at their SS18 show titled The Red String of Fate. Designed as a two-act play, the first act was a nod to Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Kelela also made an appearance at Paris Fashion Week over the weekend, walking for Lanvin’s latest collection. In London earlier this month, former Crack Magazine cover star Shabaka Hutchings opened and performed at Nicholas Daley’s catwalk show.
