Warp to celebrate 30th anniversary with 100-hour NTS takeover

The three-day celebration features contributions from Boards of Canada, Flying Lotus, Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, Danny Brown, Autechre, Kelela and many more.

Iconic electronic label Warp is marking 30 years by joining forces with NTS between 21-23 June. Under the banner of WXAXRXP, the takeover will take the form of a weekend-long programme that includes “exclusive mixes, live sessions, videos, unreleased material, new compositions and experimental free-form radio”.

Naturally, the artists taking part represent the label’s groundbreaking past and present, including Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Danny Brown, Flying Lotus, Lorenzo Senni, Oneohtrix Point Never, Yves Tumor and Squarepusher.

WXAXRXP marks the beginning of a season of celebrations from the British label. As well as the radio broadcasts, Warp has created a “unique aesthetic umbrella” for WXAXRXP with designer and art director Michael Oswell, alongside experimental photography duo Synchrodogs.
