Osàre! Editions will release King of Snake on 15 September.
London based DJ and promoter Elena Colombi will launch her new label Osàre! Editions in September. The first record released by the label comes from Free Range – a collaboration between CGI Records’ Matt Weiner and Lithuanian producer Ernestas Sadau and will be titled King of Snake. It promises to mix “lovingly sludgy” DIY electronic sounds with new wave influences, and includes the track Relax It’s Just Eggs which is out now. The six-track EP will arrive on 15 September.
The label is set up to mirror Colombi’s own wide-ranging record collection. Osàre! (meaning “daring” or “bold” in Italian) puts emphasis on “future-facing music culled from a legacy of forward-thinking experimentation and abandon, imbued with a sense of complete freedom, transcending expectations of time and genre.”
Catch Elena Colombi at Dekmantel, Berlin Atonal and Field Maneuvers festivals later in the year.
