The electronic duo will sponsor two students on BIMM Berlin’s new Music Production programme.

Modeselekor, made up of duo Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, are the new patrons of BIMM Berlin‘s Music Production course. The pair will support the new programme by sponsoring two students who “epitomise exceptional talent and creativity in music”. The scholarships will cover each student’s first year of study on the three-year bachelor’s degree course. Furthermore, Modeselektor will head up a masterclass for all students in October.

On the programme, the duo said, “We’re nothing but delighted to be sponsoring these two fantastic music production scholarships at BIMM Berlin. Supporting students and the next generation in starting their music careers is something that’s incredibly important to us.”

Nick Donovan, College Principal of BIMM Germany, added, “It is an honour to have Modeselektor as patrons. Their work has shaped the electronic music scene. These scholarships will be truly life-changing opportunities for the lucky recipients.”

The former Crack Magazine cover stars honed their sound within Berlin’s thriving music scene. In February 2019 they released their most recent album, Who Else. The pair recently headlined our Crack 100 stage at Field Day.
