Netflix have released a documentary titled This is the Legacy of Top Boy.
Top Boy‘s highly-anticipated revival is on its way, and ahead of its release Netflix have dropped a mini-doc detailing its success, resurgence and Drake’s involvement in the show. Creator and writer Ronan Bennett states: “He (Drake) also did the bulk of the pitch to Netflix and I hardly had to say anything.”
The cast, and those closely linked with the making of the TV series, all make an appearance in the mini-doc. Former Crack Magazine cover stars Little Simz and Dave feature in the nine-minute clip, along with Kano and Ashley Walters.
Season three of Top Boy will land on Netflix this Friday (13 September). Watch the new documentary via the player above.
