The first name for Glastonbury 2020 has been announced.
Diana Ross will perform at Glastonbury 2020. The iconic singer will perform in the annual legends slot on Sunday afternoon at the 50th edition of the festival next summer. “To all my fans across the world, this is my tribute to you,” Ross said. “Every concert feels like a private party, I can see your eyes and feel your hearts. I’m coming to Glastonbury, with love.” It will be the former Supreme’s first performance at Glastonbury.
This year Kylie Minogue performed in the slot, and was joined by Nick Cave for a rendition of Where the Wild Roses Grow. Tickets for Glastonbury 2020 went on sale last week and sold out almost immediately, with a record 2.4 million people registering to try an purchase tickets.
