The Berlin festival will celebrate its 21st edition next year from 24 January to 2 February.

Berlin’s CTM has announced the second wave of artists for its 10-day festival next year. Squarepusher, Dan Deacon, Sherelle, Lyra Pramuk, Cera Khin, Lokier and Afrodeutsche are among those confirmed for appearances in the most recent announcement. The festival is due to run across multiple venues including HAU Hebbel am Ufer, Berghain, Kunstquartier Bethanien, Festsaal Kreuzberg, SchwuZ, Griessmuehle, Paloma Bar; and new partners radialsystem and Silent Green’s Betonhalle.

Each year the festival embraces a new theme, which is explored through a variety of performances. The theme for 2020 is ‘liminal’ and according to the website the festival will attempt to “reflect on music as a space and catalyst for transformation” across “spiritual, cultural, and conceptual axes.”

The second wave of artists follows the announcement of our Issue 106 cover stars Giant Swan, Kamaal Williams, Bbymutha and AYA, among others, earlier in the year.
