Jon Hopkins, Hiro Kone and Pelada announced for Rewire festival

The Dutch festival is due to return from 3 – 5 April next year for its 10th edition.

Rewire has announced the first wave of artists and projects for its 2020 edition in The Hague, The Netherlands. Jon Hopkins, Hiro Kone, Pelada, Gabber Modus Operandi and OOIOO are amongst those who have been announced to perform across the range of venues in the city. Alongside these artists, Rewire has announced that Hildur Guðnadóttir will present her Emmy-winning and Grammy-nominated score for HBO’s TV show Chernobyl.

The central theme of the upcoming edition is “(Re)setting: examining the way humans and sound relate to changing environments”. In addition to the music program, the festival seeks to question current perspectives via a programme of talks, workshops and an upcoming open call for essays and projects.
