Tresor-scented perfume launched to help celebrate 30th anniversary of fall of the Berlin Wall

The fragrance is based on the original smell of the dancefloor at Tresor, which closed in 2005 and re-opened two years later.

A Tresor-scented fragrance is being launched to commemorate 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall. It has been created by Holynose, who worked alongside veteran Tresor clubbers, as well as the club’s founder Dimitri Hegemann to recreate the smell of the bank vault.

The perfume is being launched alongside a new Russian translation of techno history book Der Klang Der Familie, to help mark the 30-year anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The first 300 editions of the new book come with the fragrance.

Der Klang Der Familie is a widely-respected techno history book that tells the story of how the genre flourished in the unique political space created in the wake of the wall’s collapse.

The 30th-anniversary Russian edition of Der Klang Der Familie will be published by Shoom and is available for pre-order now.
