Warp Records has released a 10-track sampler from the upcoming WXAXRXP Sessions compilation.
In September, the London-based label announced the WXAXRXP Sessions compilation, a 10-disc box set designed to mark its 30th anniversary. Now, the label has shared a 10-track sampler featuring a track from every session included in the upcoming compilation. Featuring Peel Sessions, unreleased tracks and the best of Warp’s recent NTS takeover, one of the highlights on the sampler released today (7 November) is a high quality mastered version of Aphex Twin‘s Slo Bird Whistle (Peel Session). The sought-after classic was recorded in 1995 and was made briefly available on Soundcloud in 2015.
Oneohtrix Point Never, Flying Lotus, Mount Kimbie, Boards of Canada, Kelly Moran, Bibio, LFO, Plaid and Seefeel will also feature on the compilation.
