The first wave of names for Elevate has been announced.

Elevate Festival has revealed its line-up for 2020. DJ Lag, Jessy Lanza, Daniel Avery, re:ni, Kelly Lee Owens, Sherelle and more have been announced for the Austrian festival. Taking place from 3-4 March across various venues in Graz, Elevate will also play host to the likes of Gilles Peterson, Sir David Rodigan, Bambounou and Peach as well as more than 40 speakers.

Furthermore, Re-Imagine Europe has worked with the festival to commission a programme of special projects. Dorian Concept and Zanshin will go head-to-head on the Max Brand synthesiser, originally designed by Bob Moog in 1957. This year, The Acousmonium will also visit the event. Constructed by Francois Bayle in 1974, the sound diiffusion system is comprised of 80 speakers in various shapes and sizes. As Bayle wrote in 1993, the system was designed to be a “pure listening” experience, an “immersion in sound”.
