The beloved club’s closing party is back on.
Griessmuehle will remain open for an extra weekend, it has been announced. Having previously cancelled the club’s final party with Cocktail d’Amore, its landlords have decided to let the event go ahead on 1-3 February.
The news came as hundreds of people, including the deputy mayor of Neukölln, gathered in Berlin to protest the closing of the iconic club.
However, while Cocktail d’Amore will go ahead, the club’s future remains the same with the current owners reportedly planning to knock the venue down in order to build offices.
