The Safdie Brothers reunite with Adam Sandler for a new release.
Following the recent release of Uncut Gems, the Safdie Brothers make their return with the six-minute black comedy Goldman v Silverman. The short focuses on two street performers who both compete against one another in New York. Sandler and Benny Safdie play the titular characters, Goldman and Silverman, while the two Safdie Brothers share directing duties.
The short film was made back in October with a crew of six people, and edited in December with music from the band Forget.
Uncut Gems, which was released in the UK on 10 January 2020, features a score by Daniel Lopatin, otherwise known as Oneohtrix Point Never.
