The decade’s first grime war heats up again.
Wiley has released another diss track aimed at Stormzy as part of the two MCs’ ongoing clash. Eediyat Skengman 2 dropped late last night and sees the East End veteran up the lyrical ante, throwing shots at Stormzy’s mum and his recent break up with Maya Jama and alleging that Stormzy owes his career to the success of Wiley’s generation.
Specifically, he asserts that Stormzy owes his career to Skepta, spitting “this ting not really meant for you, I don’t know why I ain’t already sent for you, your older dons that put you on, I swear they should be collecting rent from you.”
Eediyat Skengman 2 is the latest escalation in Stormzy and Wiley’s ongoing war of words. On Monday, the Glastonbury headliner released Disappointed, his response to the godfather of grime’s first diss track, Eediyat Skengman 1.
