Sounds Like This, Leeds-based multidisciplinary arts and music festival, have confirmed Plaid for its 2020 line-up.
The festival runs from 9-20 March across various locations, including Leeds College of Music, Brudenell Social Club, Belgrave Music Hall and Sunny Bank Mills.
Territorial Gobbing, Naomi Perera, Psychiceyeclix, Ioana Selaru, AWATE, Ligeti Quartet also appear on this year’s listing.
Sounds Like This is also teaming up with Brighter Sound, a music charity who will present their gender equality programme Both Sides Now at the event – in collaboration with Delia Derbyshire Day – with a new audiovisual performance. The performance, entitled Electric Storm, will bring together 14 producers, composers and visual artists from the North to showcase their talent, drawing inspiration from Delia Derbyshire’s work, and White Noise’s 1969 album An Electric Storm.
As well as audiovisual performances, the festival will also host installations, theatrical performances, an opera and Leeds College of Music’s Gala Concert.
