Coachella will be moved from April to October.
The Californian festival will postpone this year’s edition as concerns over the coronavirus outbreak grows. Variety has gathered the news from multiple sources and New York Magazine contributor Yashar Ali has tweeted about it today (10 March).
Scoop: A source familiar with the arrangements tells me that the Coachella festival will be postponed due to Coronavirus concerns and moved to the weekends of October 9 and 16.
As of now, the same lineup is confirmed to perform.

The news comes amidst a string of cancellations. SXSW and Ultra Festival have both cancelled their upcoming editions.
There are currently five confirmed cases of coronavirus in Riverside County, CA. Warnings to avoid large gatherings have been issued.
