The BRIT Award-winning MC hit out at the UK’s treatment of the NHS on his Instagram story.
Dave has criticised the British government’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak. Writing on his Instagram story last night, the BRIT Award winner took aim at the government’s decision to repeatedly cut NHS services before the pandemic, calling it “selfish” and criticising “people who voted for people destroying the NHS that everybody loves so much now.”
Dave went on to write that his mum works in the NHS and that “no one [has] given a damn” until now, asking “how the fuck can the country elect a party that’s cut [the NHS] to a point of no return and in the same breath start talking about how much they’re behind it.” He concluded, “for everyone in the NHS, me and my people really love you and appreciate you and we won’t turn our back on you the moment that it’s over.”
Dave has never been shy of criticising the government, branding Prime Minister Boris Johnson a “racist” in his performance at the BRITs earlier this year.
