A new event is being launched by the Dekmantel team, who run Lente Kabinet Festival.

Dekmantel are set to launch the new event Zomer Kabinet on 5 September 2020. Designed to replace Lente Kabinet – which can no longer take place this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic – a large portion of the Dutch event’s programme will go ahead at the new event.

Ticket holders can gain entry into the new one-dayer, and will receive a voucher for the price difference. The voucher can be exchanged for tokens at the event, which can be used for food, drinks or merchandise.

“Together with the people we work with (musicians, artists, producers, partners and countless freelancers), we are extremely happy with the new outcome of having Zomer Kabinet in our September schedule,” Dekmantel  said via a statement, “instead of seeing Lente Kabinet postponed outright to 2021.”

“It would be of enormous help to not request a refund, if you are in a financially stable place to do so. Attending this year supports not only our ability to continue doing what we do, but also critically the wider network of all fantastic people involved.”

Lente Kabinet was originally due to take place at Oostzaan’s Het Twiske nature reserve on 30-31 May. Head to the festival’s website for further information.
