Get a chance to win a piece of music history and support the NHS in the process.

New Order, Primal Scream, The Chemical Brothers and Liam Gallagher are among artists who have donated memorabilia to a new NHS fundraising raffle. Announced on Tuesday (14 April), the raffle aims to raise funds for Help Our NHS, a charity providing ‘care packages’ to frontline NHS staff and patients.

Hosted under the name NHS Fest, the raffle is split into stages with participants able to pick which act’s donations to purchase a ticket for. Items available in the raffle include Liam Gallagher’s signed Parka, four tickets to New Order’s headline show at the O2 in October, a custom-signed telecaster guitar from Primal Scream and a special merch bundle from The Chemical Brothers including vinyl, t-shirts, posters and more. Arctic Monkeys fans can also bid on Alex Turner’s jacket from the band’s 2007 T in the Park headline performance. Entries for the raffle cost £5 each.

NHS Fest is one of a number of charity-led schemes launched to support the NHS and its staff during the coronavirus pandemic. The British government has faced widespread criticism for underfunding the health service and continuing to leave frontline staff without necessary protective equipment.

The raffle was due to open last night, however, due to overwhelming demand organisers have delayed the launch. Keep an eye on the NHS Fest website for updates.
