Bridgers shared the new album alongside a push for donations to causes such as Movement for Black Lives.
Phoebe Bridgers has released her new album, Punisher, a day early. Taking to social media to share the album, Bridgers said “I’m not pushing the record until things go back to “normal” because I don’t think they should. Here it is a little early. Abolish the police. Hope you like it.”
The link to listen to the album leads fans to a page of links to organisations such as Movement for Black Lives, Downtown Women’s Center and The Trevor Project, encouraging them to donate before listening.
