Omar-S, DJ Stingray, MoMa Ready and more announced for debut edition of Refraction Festival

The festival promises a range of virtual audiovisual experiences.

Refraction, a new festival combining art and music in digital space, launches on 16 July. Taking place over the course of two weeks, the online festival brings together visual artists and musicians for a series of live performances, DJ sets, video exhibitions and more.

The festival boasts a different virtual event every night, with performances and DJ sets locked in from the likes of DJ Stingray, MoMa Ready and Omar-S. There will also be a series of specially created audiovisual performances; Ciel teams up with visual artist Sandro S. Many of the performances at Refraction are set to be broadcast from unique locations, with Yu Su lined up to host a meditative soundscape session in her front garden and Channel Tres performing from a private warehouse in Los Angeles.
