The audiobook of Lana Del Rey’s new poetry collection has arrived.
Lana Del Rey has released the audiobook version of her new poetry collection Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass. Featuring poems read by Del Rey, the release also features music from producer and regular collaborator Jack Antonoff.
The audiobook arrives ahead of the physical volume of poetry and e-book, both of which are slated for release on 29 September, with CD and vinyl releases following on 2 October. The audiobook of Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is available to purchase via Interscope now, so far only sample poem LA Who Am I to Love You is available on streaming services. In May, Lana Del Rey shared her plans to release another record this year, reportedly due to arrive on 5 September. Del Rey announced that record in a controversial Instagram post comparing her treatment by listeners and the media to other stars, most of whom were women of colour.
