SCAPA launches the collective’s flagship mix series.
Manchester collective All Hands on Deck has launched a new flagship mix series. Kicking off with a set from Manchester’s SCAPA, the new series aims to showcase the talents of the women, non-binary and trans DJs that make up All Hands on Deck.
In non-Covid times the collective host open deck workshops and parties for women, non-binary and trans DJs to hone their skills. The venture into a mix series marks a new stage in the Manchester group’s growth. SCAPA’s mix follows a pair of new releases from the DJ and producer this year, Specious, which featured on May’s BRB (Be Right Back) Sounds From The Rainy City compilation from Manchester & Salford: Save our Scene, and Binary, released via Shifting Spheres’ compilation Spheres of Sound: In Support of Roshni and UK Black Pride.
